Job Description: A Team Member supports the daily operations of the pizza shop and helps create a positive experience for every guest. This role assists with food preparation, customer service, order accuracy, cleanliness, and overall shop efficiency. Team Members work collaboratively to maintain quality standards and ensure a welcoming environment.
Skills + Competencies:
Key Responsibilities
Guest Service
· Greets guests and provides friendly, helpful service.
· Takes orders accurately in person, online, and by phone.
· Operates the POS system to enter orders and process payments.
· Addresses basic guest questions or concerns and elevates issues when needed.
Food Preparation
· Prepares ingredients according to recipes and food safety protocols.
· Assists with making pizzas, salads, sides, and other menu items.
· Follows proper portioning, cooking, and assembly procedures.
· Kitchen & Line Support
· Maintains a clean and organized workstation.
· Operates kitchen equipment safely.
· Monitors product quality and communicates when supplies need replenished.
Cleanliness & Maintenance
· Performs routine cleaning tasks such as dishwashing, sweeping, and sanitizing surfaces.
· Follows all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
· Teamwork & Communication
· Works collaboratively with teammates across all areas of the shop.
· Follows direction from supervisors and seeks clarification when needed.
· Contributes to a positive, respectful work environment.
Qualifications:
Required
· Strong work ethic and dependability
· Clear and professional communication
· Willingness to learn and follow established processes
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
· Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Preferred (Not Required)
· Previous experience in food service or customer service
· Basic understanding of food handling practices
· Familiarity with point-of-sale systems
· Physical Requirements
· Ability to stand for long periods
· Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
· Comfort working in a high-heat kitchen environment

Compensation:
$12.00 to $13.00/hr plus tips
